In October 2006 Ukrainian and western share holders of All Ukrainian Joint Stock Bank have taken decision to found financial group called VAB Group through consolidation of all financial assets within Ukraine basing upon general concept of sales and under one brand «VAB».

VAB Group consists of nine companies covering all segments of financial market, i.e. VAB Bank, VAB Insurance Company, VAB Life insurance company, VAB Leasing Company, VAB Pension — administrator of pension funds, VAB Express — consumer crediting company, VAB Re — reinsurance company, VAB Assets management company and VAB Capital investment company.

TBIF Financial Services B.V. increased its share in VAB Bank to 63.01% from 48.9%. The share of another major shareholder, Mr. Sergey Maksimov and members of his family, decreased to 35.4%.
